Hello there peoples!

It's been something of a hobby of mine to try to find all of the music used in the TV show Supernatural. By request, I've uploaded the music I've found to a Box.net account but I decided, just for the hell of it, that I'd make it open to anybody who wants it. So, whether you're a fan of the show or just fond of classic rock, here's the deal:

What follows is a list of music sorted by season and episode. The ones that have a line through them are the songs that I already have. The ones in italics are songs that are already in a different spot on the list. Question marks mean that I'm not actually sure it should be there. Lastly, the folder where you can find the songs for download is here. If there are any songs that aren't on this list or if you happen to have any of the missing songs, by all means drop me a line.

I am now the proud owner of a shiny new dreamwidth account. I may do something with it, I may not. We shall see. This is a test entry to see if I set the cross posting feature right.

Ok . . . can everybody see my journal in it's proper format? It's supposed to be black and teal but it's showing up fucked up to me. I want to know if it's just me or if the coding is borked somewhere and I need to change my layout. Drop me a comment when you see this kay?

Got bored a few days ago and decided to tweak my journal design. It's been a while so I figured it was about time. As usual, LJ has to make it difficult to do so unless you're a A) bought yourself a paid account or B) know html coding like the back of your hand. I'm also contemplating changing out a few of my icons since there are some that I don't really use. Still tossing around ideas of what to replace them with though.

In other news, I've been in a baking mood for the past few weeks and finally got hold of all the ingredients I needed. So yesterday I made delicious cake. Recipes under the cutCollapse )

I got both recipes off of this website. End result was pretty good. While I do have a pretty strong sweet tooth, even I draw the line after a point, but it came out well. Sweet without being overpoweringly so. Actually, the cake seemed a touch bland to me but that might be because I'm not that fond of plain vanilla cake. I might experiment with it in the future and add some cinnamon to it.

I'm thinking of collecting recipes that are simple and fairly quick to make (and no not just desserts :P). I've been getting bored with the few things that I know how to make and my experiments can be hit or miss so I figured I'd start with other peoples recipes and work from there. Any suggestions?

That sound? Was the last straw hitting the top of the pile. Seriously, I'm pretty done with Hollywood right now. Cut for ranting and a wall of text.Collapse )

I feel kind of bad that my first post in months is a bitchy rant so, how are you? Read any good fic lately?

Hey mythologian! You know what's more freakout-worthy than having a cricket jumping around in your car? Getting into said car, starting it, and then turning to find a spider riding shot gun. I'm not kidding!
Warning for the arachnaphobic: eight-legged freak contained here.Collapse )

I don't even know how the fuck it got in my car, but that shit was not cool!

Anthony Stewert Head is in Merlin. He plays Uther Pendragon. He's King Arthurs dad. How did I not know this?! I seriously need to try harder to catch this show.

On another note, it's really hard to apply for jobs when I never took my resume out of my e-mail. And it's the wrong e-mail for job applications. 'Cause I'm stupid and earthlink is being a fucker today.

For those not in the LA area, yes I did get home safe and sound. I just didn't post it since I'm a horrible procrastinator. So, yes I've returned to my wonderful room, my wonderful bed, and my poor affection-starved kitty who is currently laying claim to my lap. Also, since my mother has to mess with things. I now have sheer curtains in my bedroom. Honestly, I wouldn't protest since they're pretty and they actually do match my room . . . except for the part where they're sheer and my window pretty much looks out on my neighbor kitchen. I finally managed to find my old curtains and put them up beneath the others yesterday so I can once again wander around my room naked.

Updates, updates: Posted some of the art I finished while I was gone. Finally caved and got a facebook account, so I've got one more thing to check when I get online each day. And on a random note: Hey mythologian does this seem at all familiar?

P.S. parrots are assholes.

I know I said I was going to give you guys an update but I've been afraid to use my computer due to huge freaking thunderstorms. Yeah, heavy rain after a heat wave means lots of lightning. Now usually I don't mind watching lightening storms, but not when they're practically over my head. I spent most of yesterday morning curled up on the couch with two freaked out dogs while the cats all hid.

Anyway, I'm at the airport waiting for my flight home (which wasn't delayed thankfully). So you guys get another random crap post while I amuse myself.

Went to Idaho city Idaho yesterday, which is a little former-mining town up in the mountains. It was really cool and I bought myself an old iron padlock (complete with keys!) from the little shop up there. Afterward we went through the cemetery up there. I got some really awesome pictures of the old headstones. The details on some of them were just so incredible.

Have been playing American McGee's Alice for the past couple weeks and am currently stuck in a level. All I can say is I've developed a venomous hatred for lava, fire snarks, and any level that requires excessive jumping. Other than that I'm really getting a kick out of the game.

Have also been working on art a lot the past couple weeks. I should have a couple finished by the time I get home, but not as many as I wanted. The coloring style was bugging me so I changed it. End result was I had to go back and rework a bunch of stuff. I'm a lot happier with the look of it though.

I went fishing and I swam in a river last week. I haven't done either of those since I was maybe . . . twelve. It was just as fun as I remember.

Whoops, it's almost time to board. I'd better shut my computer down. See you on the flip side!
